Lamination

Lamination is an advanced coating and bonding technology used to reinforce packaging structures, improve barrier performance, and protect your products against external factors. In this process, PE (polyethylene) film, paper, aluminum foil, or other plastic films are combined into a multi-layer structure using dedicated lamination techniques. Depending on customer requirements, we offer extrusion lamination and adhesive lamination (solventless / solvent-based) solutions. This allows us to tailor the right material combinations for food, beverage, hygiene, chemical, and industrial packaging, maximizing product safety and shelf life. Aluminum foil or high-barrier layers are preferred for demanding barrier applications, while PE and other polymer films come to the forefront where flexibility and mechanical strength are critical.

During the lamination process, key parameters such as:

• Moisture, oxygen and light barrier,

• Tear and puncture resistance,

• Heat-seal performance,

• Print protection and surface gloss/matte effect,
